Nature club was established in college in the year 2000. Dr.N.H.Shahare was co-coordinator of the activity unto session 2008-09. In the session 2009-10 the activity was handed over to me.

The purpose of nature club is to develop awareness about environment, wild life, and related problems and to conserve the nature. The club performed various activities so that the students should understand and observe the nature keenly. We try make their minds to become more eco-friendly.

Guest Lecture: - On 6th Dec.2009. We arranged a guest lecture and slide show of Sarp Mitra Mr.Raghvendra nande on the topic ‘Snake-Superstitious’. This programmed was organized as a joint venture with college NSS unit. He is a member of CARS (Conservation for Animal Rescue and Study, Amravati.)Speaker Mr. Raghvendra Nande a well known expert of snake, He focused on the various types of snakes with slides and video clips. He demonstrated about habit of the snakes. He also explained the difference between them. The students interacted with Mr.nande about some superstition and gain scientific knowledge. Some students show their willingness to work with his team.

Visit to polluted site: - On 17th January 2010 students of B.Sc. II visited a polluted nalaha at Sawata Colony a d nawathe colony. Here the student observes the garbage dumped by local peoples. The bank of nalaha is covered by parthenium, ipomea, etc. the pollution indicators plants.

One day with nature: - On 28th January 2010 a study tour was organized to Muktagiri and Chikhaldara. To observe the forest eco-system and to look out the aesthetic value of nature we visited the Chikhaldara Garden. In the tour students also observed the fresh water eco-system of the river Sipna. It was unique experience to observe the flora and fauna and fresh eco-system
